Rino Cosentino
Rino Cosentino commenced his career in the realm of photography at a very tender age with Studio Immagine of Carla Pozzi and Davide Manfredi, collaborating with internationally renowned photographers, Helmut Newton, Sarah Moon, Steven Meisel, David Bailey, to name a few.
In 1995 he opened the Blob Creative Group agency, with his current partner Paolo Disca representing photographers, directors, digital artists.
In 2008, he proposed and produced an important project for Panorama First, by Mondadori, showcasing a selection of the finest artists, gallery owners and art critics photographed throughout Italy. ‘The Italy Art Show’ was published by Mondadori and a particular event crowned this project.
In 2009, a new prestigious project with Sandro Chia was exhibited at the Venice Biennale, at the Scuola dei Mercanti. Chia painted copies of the Terracotta Warriors in the original format, then photographed and contextualized in contemporary environments.
In 2012, Doc Artist Agency was born, which, in addition to representing Artists, produces fine quality projects for those Clients/Brands who use the world of Art as a medium to enhance their communication.
In recent years Cosentino has dedicated himself furthermore to Art, collaborating and producing insightful projects with International Artists.
Carla Pozzi
Carla Pozzi, commenced her career very early as Fashion Editor, for Harper’s Bazaar and Conde Nast Group. She became a journalist and collaborated with Gap.
This brought her into contact with internationally renowned photographers, travelling all around the world to create editorials and global advertising campaigns.
In 1984 she co-founded the agency ‘Studio Immagine’, which represented the best-known international photographers exclusively for many years.
Pozzi continues her work as an agent and image consultant, and recently joined as Professor at the Milan Polytechnic for the postgraduate Master’s degree in communication, module “Great Photographers and Communication from the beginning of the 1900s to today”.
In addition, Pozzi is an Image Advisor for some important companies, as well as curator of exhibitions.
