BKK Series

The Artist perceives the world as a sum of instants which, overlapping each other, merge to form feelings and memories, our own reality. For this series, the Artist shot all around the environment surrounding the subject, collecting images like fragments of time and space, suggesting a story, sometimes a memory of it. To produce the BKK series the Artist built the base camp in Talat Noi, one of the most popular and oldest parts of Bangkok's Chinatown, full of machine shops, food stalls and piles of rusting used car engines. A dense, noisy and smoky neighbourhood, alive with energy.
